You can read some of his announcements <a href=\"http:\/\/www.governor.ct.gov\/malloy\/cwp\/view.asp?A=4010&amp;Q=498876\">here<\/a>, and hear a recap from him and his Education Commissioner, Stefan Pryor, from our Fairfield County Focus episode here:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stateofdisparity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fcf_education.mp3\">fcf_education<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We talked about the Governor&#8217;s proposals with Rae Ann Knopf of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctedreform.org\/\">Connecticut Council for Education Reform<\/a>. The Council evolved out of the Connecticut Commission on Educational Achievement, which was appointed by the state&#8217;s last governor, Republican Jodi Rell.\u00a0 They issued a report with a number of recommendations, which you can read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctedreform.org\/pdf\/commission_report.pdf\">here<\/a>.
